Abstract:

A target driving force is calculated according to the accelerator pedal position; a target input rotation lower limit base value for an automatic transmission is calculated on the basis of vehicle speed and shifting range of the automatic transmission; a target driving force lower limit correction value is calculated on the basis of the target input rotation lower limit base value; the target driving force is corrected on the basis of the target driving force lower limit correction value; a target input torque for the automatic transmission is calculated on the basis of the corrected target driving force; and the input torque to the automatic transmission is changed to the target input torque. Said change enables arbitrarily-defined braking force characteristics to be obtained in powertrain torque demand (PTD) control.
