Abstract:
A driving mechanism for an electric vehicle and its shift method have been disclosed, wherein
the driving mechanism includes a motor (5) and a transmission without a reverse
gear. The transmission without a reverse gear includes an input shaft (6), an
output shaft (7), a number of speed gears (8) and a shift device (9). Drive gears
(13) of the speed gears (8) are mounted on the input shaft (6). Driven gears (14)
of the speed gears (8) are mounted on the output shaft (7). The shift device (9)
is used to engage or disengage gears. The motor (5) is connected to the input shaft
(6) of the transmission without a reverse gear. The driving mechanism also includes
a control device (10), which is electrically connected to the motor (5) and the
shift device (9), so as to control the motor (5) turning on/off and control the
value and the direction of the input voltage for the motor (5), and control the
shift device (9) engaging or disengaging gears.
