Abstract:
A driving method for a display panel, and a display apparatus. An embodiment comprises: acquiring display data of a picture to be displayed in a current display frame (S100); and loading a data voltage to a data line in a display panel according to the display data, causing each sub-pixel in the display panel to be charged to a corresponding data voltage (S200); wherein a first target duration is present between an ending moment of a voltage transition edge when the data line loads a positive polarity data voltage and a starting moment of a data charging stage corresponding to sub-pixels charged with the positive polarity data voltage; and a second target duration is present between an ending moment of a voltage transition edge when the data line loads a negative polarity data voltage and a starting moment of a data charging stage corresponding to sub-pixels charged with the negative polarity data voltage, the second target duration being longer than the first target duration.
