Abstract:
Provided are a driving robot, a method of controlling the driving robot, and a computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a computer program. The disclosed driving robot comprises: a moving assembly; a cleaning assembly comprising a holder to which a cleaning pad may be fixed and which is movable; a sensor for detecting an obstacle positioned on a traveling path of the driving robot; and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor may: control, on the basis of an obstacle being detected by the sensor, the moving assembly to change an advancing direction of the driving robot such that the driving robot is aligned with the obstacle; control the cleaning assembly to move the holder so that the cleaning pad fixed to the holder protrudes from the driving robot to the outside; and control the moving assembly to move the driving robot so that the cleaning pad fixed to the holder and protruding from the driving robot to the outside moves along the outline of the obstacle.
