Abstract:

[Problem] To provide technology that makes it possible to suppress the occurrence of situations in which a destination is passed. [Solution] A driving support system for displaying an image on a display in which a destination icon indicating a destination is superimposed over the scenery in front of a moving body, said driving support system being provided with an opening length acquisition means for acquiring the length of the opening to the destination along the road that the moving body is on, a display position specification means for specifying the display position of the destination icon on the basis of the estimated position of the moving body so that the display position of the destination icon is the position of the opening, and an image display means for displaying an image on the display in which the destination icon is superimposed over the scenery in front of the moving body at the display position of the destination icon.
