Abstract:
The present invention increases driving efficiency in a form in which a wheel is offset with respect to a turning shaft. This driving wheel is disposed such that the rotation axis of the wheel intersecting the axial center of an axle and running along the vertical direction is displaced from the axial center of the turning shaft in the horizontal direction perpendicular to the axial center of the axle. Assuming that R1 represents the radius of the wheel, R2 represents an axis-to-axis distance between the rotation axis and the axial center of the turning shaft, n1 represents the number of rotations of the wheel, n2 represents the number of rotations of the turning shaft, V1 represents the rotational speed of the wheel, V2 represents the steering rotational speed of the wheel at the time when the turning shaft turns, and the wheel kicks a floor surface, and that V1=V2, the following relationships are satisfied: V1=2π×R1×n1; V2=2π×R2×n2; and n1=n2(R2/R1).
