Abstract:
A droplet discharge unit 100 comprises: a droplet discharge device 200 that discharges a droplet from a nozzle N and records an image on a recording medium S; and an attachment plate 110 provided with an opening 111 to which the droplet discharge device 200 is attached, the droplet discharge unit 100 further comprising point contact portions C at which the droplet discharge device 200 and contact surfaces 112 come into point contact with each other, when viewed from a direction perpendicular to a nozzle surface. At least one point contact portion C is provided on at least two surfaces including a first surface 300a (422a) parallel to a nozzle row NL of the droplet discharge device 200 and a second surface 300b (422b) differing from the first surface 300a (422a). A first point contact portion C1 of the first surface 300a (422a) is positioned further to the outer side than an end part of the nozzle row NL in the longitudinal direction, and the droplet discharge device 200 is provided with at least one positioning part P.
