Abstract:
Provided is a drug-bearing supporting medium which enables appropriate administration of a drug to an eye. This drug-bearing supporting medium for administrating a drug to an eye is provided with: a drug layer which comprises a drug and a water-soluble polymer; a dissolution separation layer which comprises a water-soluble polymer having water solubility higher than that of the water-soluble polymer of the drug layer; and a supporting body which functions as a handle. The drug layer and the supporting body are attached respectively on opposite sides of the dissolution separation layer.
