This drug infusion needle (20) is equipped with a needle base (12a), a first needle part (14) having an air duct (14a) therein, and a second needle part (15) that is longer than the first needle part (14) and is disposed parallel to the first needle part (14). For the first needle part (14), the first air duct opening (14b) that is one end of the air duct (14a) is provided closer to the tip of the second needle part (15) than the second air duct opening (18), which is the other end thereof. For the second needle part (15), one end of the liquid duct (15a) is connected to the inside of the needle base (12a) while the other end forms the liquid duct opening (15b) of the second needle part (15). The second needle part (15) comprises a tip (16a) with the liquid duct opening (15b), a base (16c) that connects to the needle base (12a), and a middle part (16b) that connects the tip (16a) to the base (16c). This drug infusion needle (20) has a configuration wherein the diameter of the middle part (16b) is larger than the diameter of the tip (16a) and the diameter of the middle part (16b) is smaller than the diameter of the base (16c).
