Abstract:

Provided are a drug inspection device and method, and a program, whereby accurate drug inspection can be performed by a simple operation and with good efficiency. A drug inspection device (30) is provided with: an image acquiring unit (40) for acquiring a plurality of captured images obtained by capturing images of a bundle of drug sheets bundled in a state in which the drug sheets are at least partially overlapping, the image acquiring unit (40) acquiring a plurality of captured images including at least a portion of each drug sheet for all the drug sheets constituting part of a bundle of drug sheets; a drug classification specifying unit (42) for specifying a drug classification from the captured images; an edge information extraction unit (44) for extracting edge information of the drug sheets from the captured images; a number-of-sheets counting unit (46) for counting the number of drug sheets on the basis of the edge information; an outermost sheet specifying unit (48) for specifying an outermost sheet present on an outermost surface part of a bundle of drug sheets; and a first drug counting unit (50) for counting the number of drugs in the outermost sheet.
