Abstract:
A drum-integrated cable tensioner comprising a drive drum, tension applying members capable of making contact with cables, and pressing means for pressing the tension applying members in the direction in which the tension applying members make contact with the cables. The drum-integrated cable tensioner is configured so that the cables have improved durability. Cables (33a, 33b) are routed so that, relative to the direction of movement thereof, the direction of bending thereof at portions thereof which are wound around the drum (103) and the direction of bending thereof at portions thereof which are in contact with tension applying members (111, 113) are the same.
