Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a tub (102); a rotary drum (103) rotatably supported within the tub (102); and a cover body disposed on the rear surface of the rotary drum (103). A mesh filter (3) is formed in the cover body. The mesh filter (3) is formed to bulge out to the rear surface side of the rotary drum (103). This structure allows for formation of large projections and recesses of the mesh filter (3) relative to the inner surface of the rotary drum (103), improves the ability to agitate clothes and the like, and improves the washing efficiency and drying efficiency. Since the mesh filter (3) bulges out to the rear surface side of the rotary drum (103), the inner volume of the rotary drum (103) can be increased.
