The present invention provides a drum-type washing machine, by which even if washings are offset in a washing drum, a dewatering process can still be rapidly performed to shorten the washing time. The washing machine (1) of the present invention is a drum-type washing machine (1), comprising: a plurality of lifting ribs (7) serving as hollow balancers; water supply valves (62a, 62b, 62c), used for injecting water into the lifting ribs (7); a proximity sensor (14), generating a signal for each rotation of a drum (2); a three-axis acceleration sensor (12), used for detecting vibration of an outer drum (3); and a central control unit (31) as a detection unit, used for detecting the vibration amplitude of the outer drum (3) and an eccentric position (N) of the drum. Under the condition that the eccentricity (M) in the drum (2) is greater than a specified value, the eccentricity (M) can be reduced by injecting water into the lifting ribs (7); the method is characterized in that during the dewatering operation, a water injection threshold value for starting water injection and an acceleration threshold value for acceleration after the water injection is started are changed in association with upper-lower vibration amplitudes, left-right vibration amplitudes, and front-back vibration amplitudes.
