Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a dry microcarrier for cell cultivation, the method comprising: a step of immersing, using a solvent including gelatin, an alginic acid fine particulate gel including a cation having a valency of two or more; and a step of drying the alginic acid fine particulate gel that was immersed using the solvent, and forming a dry microcarrier. The dry microcarrier for cell cultivation comprises gelatin and an alginic acid cross-linked by a cation having a valency of two or more, and gelatin is included inside the dry microcarrier for cell cultivation.
