Abstract:
A dryer may comprise: a drum; a duct connected to the drum; a compressor fluidically connected to an evaporator and a condenser provided in the duct; a heater provided in the duct; a fan provided in the duct; a motor for rotating the fan; and a controller performing a first operation of operating the compressor, the heater, and the motor on the basis that there is no object to be dried in the drum, and a second operation of operating the heater and the motor without operating the compressor. The dryer allows the inside thereof, in particular, flow passages through which humid air passes, to be sterilized.
