Abstract:
Disclosed is a dryer, according to one aspect, comprising: a main body for providing an input unit and a display unit; a drum for accommodating laundry to be dried; a motor for providing rotational force to the drum; a compressor; a heat pump device for heating the air supplied to the drum; an electrode sensor for outputting a pulse when making contact with the laundry to be dried; a current sensor for outputting a sensed value corresponding to the magnitude of a current flowing through the motor; and a control unit which receives a drying course selected through the input unit, and which outputs a control signal for controlling the motor and the compressor.
