Abstract:
A dryer comprises: a cabinet; a drum which is rotatably provided inside the cabinet and in which a material to be dried is accommodated; and a hot air supply device for supplying the inside of the drum with hot air, wherein the drum includes: a rear plate, which is disposed on the rear surface of the drum, and includes a hot air supply hole communicating with the hot air supply device to supply the inside of the drum with hot air; and a hot air supply rod protruding in the direction toward the front of the drum to allow communication with the hot air supply hole, thereby supplying the inside of the drum with hot air, the hot air supply rod includes: a humidity sensor provided on the front of the hot air supply rod to measure the humidity of the material to be dried; and a self-generation device, which generates electric power by means of a magnet rotated together with the drum when the drum rotates, thereby supplying a power source to the humidity sensor.
