Abstract:
The present invention relates to a drying apparatus using microwave and, more specifically, to a drying apparatus capable of effectively drying waste high in moisture such as food waste and sewage sludge by applying microwaves to the waste. The present invention can thermally decompose various organic substances contained in exhaust generated during drying of a material to be dried, by heating the exhaust to a high temperature of 500°C to 1500°C, thereby preventing odor and contamination of the surroundings due to various foreign substances. In addition, the present invention can use high thermal energy of the exhaust in drying the material to be dried so as to save energy and effectively dry the material to be dried in a short time.
