Abstract:
The present invention applies to the technical field of MACROBUTTON networks and provides a DSCP marking method, system, and policy entity. The method comprises: once a mobile terminal or fixed-network device successfully accesses a network via a fixed network, a policy entity obtains the data flow category and the DSCP marking rules corresponding to said data flow category, and sends said DSCP marking rules to a fixed-network node; the fixed-network node then carries out DSCP marking on a target data flow in accordance with the received DSCP marking rules. By means of the policy entity sending DSCP marking rules corresponding to a fixed-network device or a mobile terminal, the fixed-network node knows clearly the appropriate DSCP marking for a data flow corresponding to said fixed-network device or mobile terminal. Fixed-network node processing operations are thereby simplified and the DSCP marking policy can be flexibly and effectively implemented, promoting the sound utilization of network resources, etc.
