Abstract:
In order to provide a dual band compatible antenna device that is able to maintain high antenna efficiency in both resonance operations at a low band frequency and a high band frequency, this dual band compatible antenna device is provided with: a power feed electrode branched into a first branch power feed electrode that serves as a signal path for a low band frequency and a second branch power feed electrode that serves as a signal path for a high band frequency; and a radiation electrode that has a rectangular shape having a longitudinal direction, and has a low band frequency feeding point to which the first branch power feed electrode is electrically connected and a high band frequency feeding point to which the second branch power feed electrode is electrically connected. In the radiation electrode, the low band frequency feeding point or the high band frequency feeding point is formed near an end portion in the longitudinal direction of the rectangular shape, whereas the high band frequency feeding point or the low band frequency feeding point is formed at the center part of a side that extends in the longitudinal direction of the rectangular shape.
