Abstract:
A dual-electric motor hybrid electric vehicle, and a method and system for handling battery faults thereof. The method for handling battery faults comprises: during a vehicle operating process, detecting in real time whether a power battery is faulty; if yes, determining the fault level of the power battery, the fault level comprising a medium level that can maintain the driving of a vehicle while limp; performing post-fault handling according to the fault level, comprising: when the fault level of the power battery is the medium level, controlling an engine to drive a first electric motor to generate power, while controlling the first electric motor to enter a voltage maintaining mode for operation, thereby providing a low voltage for a low-voltage load of the vehicle by means of a DC/DC converter of the vehicle.
