Abstract:
A dual-laser-beam deposition-forming and impact-forging combination additive manufacturing method. The method comprises: 1) stacking a deposition zone material by using two laser beams with different functions simultaneously and synergistically to form a workpiece; and 2) a first continuous laser beam (4) depositing a metal powder (3) by thermal effect, while at the same time a second short pulse laser beam (5) directly acts on the surface of the deposited metal in a forging temperature range, and using the second short pulse laser beam (5) to impact forge the deposited layers in the forging temperature range by a shock wave mechanical effect. Thereby, strength and plasticity of the entire block material and uniformity of grain size is improved, internal defects such as pores in the deposited layers and thermal stress are eliminated, the internal quality and mechanical properties of metal parts are significantly improved, and macroscopic deformation and cracking problems are effectively controlled.
