Abstract:
This dual optical frequency comb generation device (201) comprises a semiconductor substrate (14), a first optical frequency comb laser light source (20) including a first resonator, a second optical frequency comb laser light source (21) that includes a second resonator and that has a different optical pulse repetition frequency than the first optical frequency comb laser light source, two or more output units including output units (50, 51), an optical waveguide (20w) for connecting the first optical frequency comb laser light source (20) and the output unit (50), an optical waveguide (21w) for connecting the second optical frequency comb laser light source (21) and the output unit (51), and an optical waveguide (40) that branches from the optical waveguide (20w) and that is coupled to the optical waveguide (21w). The first optical frequency comb laser light source (20), the second optical frequency comb laser light source (21), the two or more output units, and the optical waveguides (20w, 21w, 40) are integrated on the semiconductor substrate (14).
