Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dual turntable for a submarine cable and a method for winding the submarine cable. The dual turntable according to the present invention comprises: a lower turntable rotatably provided so that the submarine cable can be wound thereon; an upper turntable which is positioned on the top of the lower turntable, has a passage through which the submarine cable passes so that the submarine cable is wound on the lower turntable, and is provided so as to be rotatable independent from the lower turntable such that after a predetermined length of the submarine cable is wound on the lower turntable, the submarine cable is wound thereon; and a loading arm which rotates in conjunction with the upper turntable and is provided to guide the submarine cable, which is directed to the lower turntable through a through hole, to be movable in a vertical direction and a horizontal direction.
