Abstract:
[Problem] To allow temperature adjustment for each local air-conditioned space inside a room, while reducing energy loss and power consumption during air conditioning of the entire room, and maintaining comfort in the entire room including the air-conditioned spaces. [Solution] This duct system comprises a duct unit that supplies cold air or hot air to local air-conditioned spaces in a room, and a discharge flow path that guides the hot air or cold air from the duct unit to outside, wherein: the duct unit includes a cold air flow path having a cold air blowout port that supplies cold air to the air-conditioned spaces and a cold air discharge port communicating with the discharge flow path, a hot air flow path having a hot air blowout port that supplies hot air to the air-conditioned spaces and a hot air discharge port communicating with the discharge flow path, and a switching unit that switches the open/close of the cold air blowout port, the hot air blowout port, the cold air discharge port, and the hot air discharge port; when supplying cold air to the air-conditioned spaces, switching is performed such that cold air is blown out from the cold air blowout port, and hot air is discharged to the discharge flow path via the hot air discharge port; and when supplying hot air to the air-conditioned spaces, switching is performed such that hot air is blown out from the hot air blowout port, and cold air is discharged to the discharge flow path via the cold air discharge port.
