Abstract:
The present invention provides a ducted fan apparatus and an aircraft that can achieve suppression of lip separation, increase in thrust, improvement of silencing property, and the like. This ducted fan apparatus comprises: a plurality of fan devices (20) each having a fan (22) that rotates about the axial line (Xf) so as to generate an air current and a cylindrical small duct (23) that encloses the fan (22) around the axial line (Xf) and extends in the direction of the axial line (Xf); and a cylindrical large duct (30) that extends in the direction of an axial line (Xd) parallel to the axial line (Xf). When viewed from the direction of the axial line (Xd), the respective fan devices (20) are disposed at the inner side of the large duct (30), and meanwhile, when viewed from a direction orthogonal to the axial line (Xd), at least a portion of the small ducts (23) is disposed outside the large duct (30) on the upstream side in an air current flow direction.
