Abstract:
A dust collection device comprises: a plurality of trapping plates that are arrayed in a direction intersecting an air passage direction in an airflow path through which air passes, with spaces therebetween, and that are charged by friction;, a fiction member that is in contact with the trapping plates and rubs the trapping plates; and a drive control unit that controls relative movement between the trapping plates and the friction member on the basis of humidity of the air passing through the trapping plates, and efficiently collects dust with decrease in charge amount of the trapping plates being suppressed.
