Abstract:
A dust collection device provided with a dust collection container (31) for storing dust, an inlet (31a) through which the dust sucked in from a suction inlet (6) at the bottom of a vacuum cleaner flows to the dust collection container (31) along with air, an introduction plate (34b) for guiding the dust and air that flowed into the dust collection container (31), and a filter unit (33) for capturing the dust by letting the air pass through the filter unit (33), wherein: the dust collection container (31) has a bottom part (31x1), a side wall part (31x2) which rises from the peripheral edge of the bottom part (31x1) and of which a portion constitutes the edge part of the inlet (31a), and an opening (31d) of which the circumference is delimited by means of the side wall part (31x2) and on which the filter unit (33) is disposed; and the introduction plate (34b) is disposed in the vicinity of the inlet (31a) on the inner surface of the side wall part (31x2) and guides the air flow that flowed into the dust collection container (31) from the inlet (31a) toward the bottom part (31x1).
