Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a high performance polarizing plate which functions with respect to light rays in the infrared wavelength range; and a liquid crystal display device or the like, which is provided with this polarizing plate. Provided is a polarizing plate for the infrared range, which is a stretched film containing a dye that has an absorption in the infrared range and having dichroism.
