Abstract:
The present invention provides: a dye for pathological diagnosis comprising a pigment represented by a formula (1); a cell nucleus staining method and method for producing a pathological specimen using this dye; and a pigment that is preferable as the pigment component of the dye. R1 through R8 and R11 and R12 each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent group. R13 through R15 each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent group. A1 and A2 each represent -O-, -S-, -Se-, -NR16-, or -CR17R18-, and R16 through R18 each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent group. n1 is an integer of 0 to 3, and m is an integer of 1 to 4. X- shows an anionic counterion.
