Abstract:
A reference vector object frame and a reference frame are selected from a plurality
of frames which have been encoded. Information specifying each frame is encoded.
A reference vector indicating a region on the reference vector reference frame
is set for the region-to-be-encoded. The reference vector is encoded. A corresponding
region is searched by using the image information on the reference vector object
region on the reference vector object frame indicated by the reference vector
and the reference frame. According to the result, the reference region on the
reference frame is set. A prediction image is generated by using the image information
on the reference frame corresponding to the reference region. A difference
information between the image information on the region-to-be-encoded and
the prediction image is encoded.
