Abstract:
An embodiment of the dynamo-electric machine of the present invention is provided with: a rotor located within a housing and having a shaft rotating about a center axis; a stator facing the rotor in a radial direction with a gap therebetween; the housing for housing the rotor and the stator and having a reservoir section capable of containing oil; a pump section driven through the shaft; an oil passage for connecting the pump section and the reservoir section; and a heat exchanger provided in the oil passage and exchanging heat with the oil. The heat exchanger is provided between the lower end of the reservoir section and the pump section in the axial direction.
