Abstract:
A dynamo-electric machine has a dynamo-electric machine body and a control device which is provided to the dynamo-electric machine body. The dynamo-electric machine body has a stator, a rotor which includes a rotating shaft and which can rotate relative to the stator, and a support body which supports the stator and the rotor. The control device has a power circuit section disposed around the rotating shaft and converting, between AC and DC, electric power received from the dynamo-electric machine body or electric power to be supplied to the dynamo-electric machine body. The power circuit section has power modules including switching elements and also has a mutual electric power connection component including conductors connected to the terminals of the power modules. The mutual electric power connection component is disposed so as not to be superposed on the regions of the power modules when the power circuit section is viewed in the direction of the axis of the rotating shaft.
