Abstract:
This dynamo-electric machine (10) comprises a field element (20) having a plurality of magnetic poles, an armature (40) of a toothless structure having a multi-phase armature winding (41), and an armature holding member (50) for holding the armature. In the armature winding, a portion winding (81) has a pair of intermediate conductive wire parts (81) and crossover parts (83, 84), and the respective intermediate conductive wire parts of different portion windings are disposed in close proximity to each other lined up in the circumferential direction. In the coil ends of the armature, a part of the armature holding member or a position restricting member (70, 100) secured to the armature holding member restricts the position of the portion winding in a state of being mounted to the armature holding member. An insulating layer (150) is interposed between the portion winding and the position restricting member.
