Abstract:
An EA material configured such that a reinforcing body in a mounting section is less likely to come out of position. An EA material (20) has a plate-like body section (21) and a mounting section (22) projecting from a side surface of the body section (21), and the body section (21) and the mounting section (22) consist of a foamed resin such as a hard urethane foam. An embedded piece (30) is embedded in the mounting section (22). Reinforcing bodies (34, 35) of the embedded piece (30) extend from the mounting section (22) into the body section (21). Openings (36, 37) are formed in the reinforcing bodies (34, 35). Projections (34a, 34b, 35a, 35b) are formed on the reinforcing bodies (34, 35). The reinforcing bodies (34, 35) extend from flange sections (32, 33) so as to come closer to each other toward the front ends of the reinforcing bodies.
