Abstract:
An easily-adjustable durable contact tip for welding, and a method therefor. The contact tip comprises a main body (100) and an adjustment sleeve (200); a connecting portion (105) is provided at the rear end of the main body (100), a cylindrical hole for a welding wire to pass through is provided inside the main body, and conductive blocks (125) are provided at the front end of the main body; a gap is provided between the conductive blocks (125), the adjustment sleeve (200) is provided with a cavity for accommodating the conductive blocks (125), an adjustment hole (210) and a guide hole (220) are provided at the front end of the adjustment sleeve (200), and the cylindrical hole of the main body (100) is on the same axis as the guide hole (220). The conductive blocks (125) or the adjustment hole (210) is configured to have a taper for changing the direction of a force, main body threads (115) and adjustment sleeve threads (205) are engaged with each other, the adjustment sleeve (200) and the main body (100) move relative to each other, that is, the main body (100) is screwed or the adjustment sleeve (200) is screwed to make the conductive blocks (125) and the adjusting hole (210) move towards each other, and external forces are applied to the conductive blocks (125), so that the conductive blocks (125) approach each other in an inward direction. Forces generated after compression of springs (400) can be used for making the conductive blocks (125) approach each other.
