Abstract:

　Conventional echo cancellation devices are problematic in that an echo signal cannot be fully attenuated. An echo cancellation device outputs a first voice signal in which frequency components equal to or higher than a target frequency are suppressed and acquires an acoustic signal (S2) that includes frequency components higher than the target frequency, wherein the echo cancellation device has: an echo signal reduction processing unit (18) for generating, from the acoustic signal (S2), a talk-sending signal in which an echo signal component is reduced; and a filter coefficient update determination unit (17) for indicating to the echo signal reduction processing unit that a filter coefficient is to be updated when an output voice signal (S1) is a voice section and the acoustic signal (S2) includes the echo signal component. The filter coefficient update determination unit (17) calculates the feature value of the acoustic signal (S2), and, when a difference between the first feature value of frequency bands equal to or lower than the target frequency and the second feature value of frequency bands higher than the target frequency is greater than or equal to a preset update determination threshold, indicates that the filter coefficient be updated.
