Abstract:
The present invention can eliminate echo using an appropriate adaptive filter with no incorrect learning. This echo suppressing device eliminates echo from an input signal picked up by a microphone of a terminal having a speaker and the microphone. The invention comprises: a reference signal adjustment unit that generates a plurality of delayed reference signals by applying a plurality of mutually different delay times to a reference signal which is transmitted through a receiver side signal path for transmitting a signal to a speaker; a filter generation unit that obtains convergence values of a plurality of adaptive filters on the basis of each of the plurality of delayed reference signals; a filter correction unit that compares the plurality of convergence values, and sets a first filter coefficient smaller than the convergence values, the first filter coefficient being a filter coefficient for an element that does not change in accordance with a change in the delay time; and an echo elimination unit that eliminates linear echo by applying, to the input signal, the adaptive filter that has been corrected by the filter correction unit.
