Abstract:
The present application provides an edge application management method and a device, used to reduce, in edge computing scenarios, a load of a management apparatus at a cloud center for managing edge applications, and also reduce network overheads. The method of the present application comprises: a first node determining, according to authentication information of a first application, a first verification result, wherein the first verification result is used to instruct whether to allow the first application to run; and the first node sending the first verification result to a second node, wherein the authentication information of the first application is from a management apparatus at a cloud center. The present application does not require each node having a deployed application to request authentication from the management apparatus at the cloud center, thereby reducing the load of the management apparatus. In addition, a connection to the management apparatus is not required for every edge node having a deployed application, thereby reducing the network load, and improving stability and reliability of an application authentication process.
