Abstract:
Disclosed by the present application are an edge application server migration and DNS cache flushing or clearing method and apparatus, belonging to the technical field of wireless communications. The edge application server migration method is performed by a first core network device, and comprises: after receiving first information, determining whether it is necessary to send second information to a target terminal, the first information being used for indicating that a source edge application server providing service support for the target terminal has been migrated to a target edge application server, the second information being used for instructing the target terminal to refresh the DNS cache records or to clear some or all of the DNS cache records; if it is determined that the second information must be sent to the target terminal, sending the second information to the target terminal.
