Abstract:
Disclosed is an edge cloud-oriented multistage clock synchronization method, capable of achieving three-stage clock synchronization among edge clouds, in edge clouds and between a physical machine and a virtual machine. A network time service is carried out among edge clouds and in edge clouds by means of a central architecture; a server is selected in each edge cloud to serve as a server for clock synchronization, and other internal nodes serve as clients for clock synchronization; a server of a certain edge cloud is selected among edge clouds as a top-stage clock source, and servers of other edge clouds serve as clients of the top-stage clock source; network message transceiving is performed between the clients and the servers to realize the network time service; finally, the physical machine synchronizes a clock to the virtual machine. The present invention can simultaneously realize clock synchronization among edge clouds, in edge clouds and between the physical machine and the virtual machine.
