Abstract:
An EGR gas mixer in which mixing efficiency of fresh air and EGR gas is enhanced. The EGR gas mixer mixes fresh air flowing through a suction pipe (1) and EGR gas flowing through an EGR passage (12). The forward end of EGR piping (12a) constituting the EGR passage (12) is place so as to project into the suction pipe (1). An inclination plate (19) is a plate member provided on the side facing the outlet of the EGR passage (12) and inclining relative to the direction of the flow of EGR gas. When viewed from the upstream side toward the downstream side, the inclination plate (19) is arranged such that the projecting portion of the EGR gas piping and at least a part of the inclination plate (19) are superposed over each other.
