Title:
EJECTOR FOR HYDROGEN-FUELED CAR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/134153
Kind Code:
A9
Abstract:
According to the present invention, an ejector for a hydrogen-fueled car comprises: a chamber in which a plurality of diffusers are formed to discharge hydrogen gas, and which is connected to a fuel-cell stack of the hydrogen-fueled car so as to supply to the fuel-cell stack the hydrogen gas discharged from the diffusers; a hollow manifold having a connection portion formed at one side thereof and connected to a hydrogen gas supply pipe connected to a hydrogen tank, so as to enable hydrogen gas to flow into the manifold; nozzle bodies, each of which is integrally formed with the manifold, beneath the latter, and coupled to the chamber, and which has a plurality of hydrogen gas inlets including hydrogen-gas inlet holes communicating with the manifold and the diffusers so as to form paths for injecting the hydrogen gas fed into the manifold into the diffusers; and injection nozzles, each of which is integrally formed with the corresponding nozzle body and arranged at one side of the corresponding hydrogen-gas inlet communicating with the corresponding diffuser, such that the injection nozzles correspond to the diffusers in order to inject the hydrogen gas fed into the hydrogen gas inlets into the diffusers. The manifold, the nozzle bodies, and the injection nozzles are integrally formed with each other by injection-molding and high-temperature powder sintering using a powder sintering composition in which stainless-steel powder, a main binder, a sub-binder, a plasticizer, and a surfactant are mixed. Each nozzle body further has a nozzle diameter varying means for varying the diameter of the injection hole of the injection nozzle. According to the present invention, as the manifold, nozzle bodies, and injection nozzles are integrally formed by powder sintering, the number of parts decreases and some manufacturing procedures may be omitted, thereby improving productivity and reducing manufacturing costs. The ejector of the present invention has one-touch joints, thereby very easily connecting the hydrogen-gas supply pipe to the manifold. Further, the diameters of the injection holes of the injection nozzles may vary, thereby eliminating the necessity of manufacturing injection nozzles having injection holes with different diameters to match the displacements of hydrogen-fueled cars. Thus, an ejector having a single size may be applied to both large and small hydrogen-fueled cars, thereby improving compatibility.
