Abstract:
This ejector is provided with a nozzle section (51), a body section (52) in which a refrigerant suction opening (52a) and a pressure increasing section (52c) are formed, and a distribution section (53). The distribution section (53) has formed therein a swirl space (53a), a nozzle-side outlet (53b), and an evaporation gas-side outlet (53c). The swirl space (53a) causes the flow of a refrigerant to swirl. The nozzle-side outlet (53b) is formed at the refrigerant flow downstream end of the swirl space (53a) in the direction of center axis thereof and allows the refrigerant to flow out toward the nozzle section (51). The evaporation gas-side outlet (53c) is formed in a side surface section located on the outer peripheral side of the center axis of the swirl space (53a) and allows the refrigerant to flow toward a suction-side evaporation section (18). Further, the ejector is provided with a step section (54) protruding in the direction in which the inner diameter of the swirl space (53a) decreases, and preventing the refrigerant within the swirl space (53a) from separating from the evaporation gas-side outlet (53c).
