An elastic endless crawler, wherein a line formed by connecting the tips of cords at one end of a crawler main body shows a projected shape and a line formed by connecting the tips of cords at the other end thereof shows a recessed shape, whereby a difference in rigidity between a crawler main body portion including the overlapped parts of the cords and the other portion can be reduced to the minimum so as to suppress vibration and noise from occurring; a crawler device, wherein, when a higher load definitely applies to a rubber crawler when the rubber crawler moves forward in a first advancing direction than when the rubber crawler moves backward in a second advancing direction, the rubber crawler is installed on both wheels so that the tips of the cords at the overlapped part positioned on the outer peripheral side of the rubber crawler face in the second advancing direction, whereby the durability and reliability of the rubber crawler can be supplemented from the other aspects because the rubber crawler is so formed as to be installed taking into account a rotating direction which may pose a problem in a particular use condition.
