Provided are an elastic hold-down device and a label applicator. The elastic hold-down device comprises: an adjustment support (100); a hold-down mechanism (200) provided at the adjustment support (100) and comprising a hold-down belt (220); a rocker mechanism (300) rotatably provided at the hold-down mechanism, the hold-down belt being sleeved onto the rocker mechanism; and an elastically tensioned mechanism (400) provided at the hold-down mechanism and abutting against the hold-down belt. When a product collides, at a high speed, with the hold-down belt at a guide wheel of the hold-down mechanism, the rocker mechanism can rotate through a small angle with respect to the hold-down mechanism, thereby preventing the product from being squeezed and damaged as a result of a direct collision. Moreover, the elastically tensioned mechanism can protect the rocker mechanism from a structural damage due to a collision and enables resetting of the rocker mechanism. The present invention has high reliability, a simple structure and low manufacturing and use costs.
