Abstract:
An aim of the present invention is to provide an elastic polyurethane fiber having excellent mechanical characteristics - particularly excellent stress characteristics at an elongation region of between 100% and 200% that is a region of actual use, while using a diisocyanate compound having excellent yellowing resistance. The elastic polyurethane fiber contains polyurethane polymerized from a diol compound, polyol, and an organic diisocyanate compound. The organic diisocyanate compound contains at least 1,4-bis (isocyanatomethyl) cyclohexane, and the trans/cis isomer ratio of the 1,4-bis (isocyanatomethyl) cyclohexane is between 70/30 and 95/5.
