Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an elastic structure, the pleats of which extend in straight lines and which is attractive and breathes well while also feeling soft. The problem is solved by an elastic structure wherein: a first sheet material (12S) and a second sheet material (12H) are bonded by an adhesive (71), which is disposed intermittently in the expansion/contraction direction and is continuous in the direction intersecting with the expansion/contraction direction, to form sheet-bonding sections (70); elastic expanding/contracting members (15, 16) are fixed using the adhesive (71) to the first sheet material (12S) and/or the second sheet material (12H) at positions intersecting with the sheet-bonding sections (70); the areas of the first sheet material (12S) and the second sheet material (12H) located between the sheet-bonding sections (70) billow out in opposite directions to each other, each forming pleats (80), as a result of the first sheet material (12A) and the second sheet material (12H) contracting in conjunction with the contraction of the elastic expanding/contracting members (15, 16); and the width (70w) of each sheet-bonding section (70) in the expansion/contraction direction is 0.5-4 mm and the interval (70d) between adjacent sheet-bonding sections (70) is 4-8 mm.
