Abstract:
An electrolyte-absorptive polymer is composed of a nonaqueous polymer into which a hydrophilic polar group is introduced. The electrolyte-absorptive polymer is produced by introducing a hydrophilic polar group into a nonaqueous polymer. A cell includes such a dried electrolyte-absorptive polymer and a dried electrolyte as cell constituent members. The electrolyte-absorptive polymer and the cell using the electrolyte-absorptive polymer are inexpensive and high in safety. The polymer can absorb various kinds of electrolyte simultaneously. The cell is free from leakage to the outside and vaporization of the electrolyte and can be stored for a long term before used.
