Abstract:
An electric braking device 10 comprises a transmission mechanism 30 having an input gear 31 that inputs rotation of a motor shaft member 13 and an output gear 33 that is configured so as to be able to rotate along with rotation of the input gear 31 and that transmits rotation to an actuator. The electric braking device 10 comprises a circuit unit 60 composed of a circuit board 61 and mounting parts 62, 63 mounted on the circuit board 61. In the electric braking device 10, the circuit board 61 and an electrical motor 12 are disposed such that a virtual plane parallel to the circuit board 61 and the axial direction of the motor shaft member 13 intersect each other. In the electric braking device 10, the output gear is disposed so as to intersect a specific plane P2 which is a plane that passes through the circuit unit 60 among virtual planes parallel to the circuit board 61.
